Sorry to be so long in writingf this review but the Smart car to which they are now fitted was in the process of being exported from the UK to Cyprus. The improvement in light spread, particularly in the high beam mode, is very marked compared to the 55wwatt normal bulb. There is no scatter and the inrtensity and reach of the beam is very much improved. Highly reccomend these bulbs for any car using H7 equipment

These bulbs were a replacement for my standard halogens in a Vw passat that did not cover a metre distance on the road more than the car and felt extremely dim. However with these bulbs I can see several times more further into the distance with a stronger beam. I’ve been told the drawbacks are that the working life is much less due to a stronger beam but I will have to see how long the bulbs last but I do believe they come with a 6 month warranty atleast.

Popped a pair of these on my Peugeot 3008 - my previous car had LED headlights and the stock halogen bulbs on this car seemed very weak in comparison.
The Philips x-treme vision bulbs are definitely an improvement on stock - they’re much brighter and seem to have a longer beam. The light is slightly whiter. Can’t comment on longevity yet, but shall keep my fingers crossed.

This was a second purchase of the Philips X-treme Vision bulbs. One of the first pair, from another supplier, failed after three weeks. I went to Powerbulbs this time because of their guarantee. The bulbs are definitely brighter than the original bulbs. They are not, however, quite as bright as I had hoped. 130% sounded very bright - but is it 130% better than before or really only 30% better than before? It seems like the improvement is 30%.

These bulbs were fitted to a 2011 Pre-facelift Jaguar XF S to replace the standard H7 halogen bulbs. What an improvement! Let’s hope the bulbs last a decent amount of time as I’ve heard reports that after six months they might fail. Let’s hope not.

The lamps seem to be working well but if they produce an additional 30% light this is only just pirceptable, just shows the adaptability of the human eye.
However it is some time since I changed a car headlight lamps and the fitting of these was a “doddle.” I am a 82 year old arthritic gent and I replaced 2 headlights and 2 dipped lamps in 1 hour. A very good improvement over the fiddly locking spring clips of yester year.

I had yellow headlight lenses in my 2005 Subaru Outback and driving at night was like driving in pitch black. I replaced the headlamp units but with lovely clear plastic lenses it still looked like I was driving in pitch black at night. I thought about getting rid of my car even though it is a good car to drive. My car has projector headlights and not reflector. When I bought these xtreme vision gloves I didn't think they were going to make a difference. What a pleasant surprise it was when after installing these I switched on my lights at night for the first time. For the first time ever I felt comfortable driving my vehicle at night. They really do give me a lot more light on the road than before. I can recommend Phillips xtreme vision +130% halogen globes. Also when using the original globes and I placed my hand on the headlight lens it would burn my hand. I was worried about getting these because I thought they might melt the plastic of my lenses. Well, when I place my hand on the lenses with these new globes, my hand doesn't burn and I don't have to remove it from the plastic lens. So I am very comfortable with these and don't have to consider installing non compliant LED's.

I’m no expert when it comes to car bulbs but I was needing a new pair for my mk3 Mondeo. I’d read these were good, they were selling at a discount, so I got them. They were delivered quickly and well packed. They cast a really nice whitish light that is way brighter than what I had. They should be better but now I realise I need to re laquer my headlights, once that’s done I think they’ll be even better in the dark. With this website you get genuine products that work. Living deep in the countryside and driving in darkness with these bulbs fitted makes sense as one can see further up the road, so giving extra seconds to take action against any possible dangerous obstacles. These Philips X-treme Visions certainly are likely to be as good a Halogen bulb as you can fit without choosing a bulb with a much shorter life span, such as the Racing Visions.
They are truly very white too. White enough to come back to Powerbulbs and look for a similar quality 501 side light bulb to match.
Ordinary Halogens may last longer but, even if they do, they're also likely to become more and more yellow as the Halogen gradually leaks out as it always does eventually.
H1 and H7 versions of these are now in my Ford Galaxy and my wife's Audi A3. I now intend to fit more of these to our KAWASAKI bikes.

Needed to adjust beam angle slightly because kept being flashed by on-coming cars (makes a change!). Only been in two weeks so not sure if life is as expected.

I'll never opt for anything different in the future. Much of my driving is in the city or on a busy motorway so the dim quality is very important. After I installed the lamps, a whole new world of clarity appeared before me. The entire road lights up and there are not 'faded' areas. If you are unsure, stop thinking a buy! You'll be really glad you did.

I have a 2009 Volkswagen Passat & I had the standard halogen bulbs for my low-beams & high-beams & I struggled with being able to see while driving on a clear night & I struggled even more wwhen it was raining at night!! This was the first time that I needed to replace the high beams on my 03 540. I followed a recommendation from a BMW forum and ordered my replacement bulbs from PowerBulbs. These are a huge improvement over the OEM bulbs in my new Mercedes (which are also made by Philips as it happens).
The light was so poor that I took the car back to the dealer and complained.
These bulbs are a whiter light with a longer "throw". I live in a rural area so this is really important to me.

Having read the reviews I was expecting great things. However they really do not seem much different from the std bulbs (VW Tiguan). They might be worth it if you are changing out dead bulbs but not really worth changing a working and good bulb.I haven't bothered changing the dipped beam ones, I suppose I have a few spares now.

I've put these onto my Saab 9-5 estate to improve the brightness of the dipped headlights, which were awful though legal. Now driving in the dark is fine as these bulbs have vastly improved the light quality. Not sure how long they will last yet so I'll see. so far so good. I'd buy them again.

I purchased these for my e91 BMW and they do the job perfectly, they were dispatched very quickly and were a good price.
The light projection from them isn't staggering as expected from the packaging and description but it certainly does the job well enough. Perhaps I'm expecting a little too much from a traditional halogen bulb after having previous experience with OEM HID headlights which are considerably brighter and more powerful. Next time, I would probably go for a slightly whiter white as these seem a little on the warm side but that's just personal preference.
But a good set of bulbs nonetheless and I would recommend them as a replacement.

The light output is great! My older Philips x-treme vision (100%) lasted exactly 12 months on the dot and I was a little disappointed. Mind you I was only disappointment as its a chore on my car to change bulbs.
With these 130% bulbs I'm a little concerned about the light scatter and might feel a little bit guilty of blinding people. I noticed street signs glow back at me a lot! I might need to double check my headlight aim but have not had a chance.

A great replacement bulb for my motorcycle

My 2009 Honda Goldwing uses four H7 bulbs (2 low beam and 2 high beam). When one of the original Philips bulbs burnt out I did a little research on various motorcycle magazines and forums to find what might be the best replacement bulbs. I replaced all four bulbs as when one burns out the others usually follow shortly after. (I did start by replacing one to see the difference) Even during daylight there was a noticeable difference in brightness and later during the night the difference was amazing. Clear, bright and good visibility far down the road, I was very pleased.
I have had them for a month now and am still very happy, time will tell as to how long they will last. Powerbulbs had the best price when I did my research and I like the twin pack as I wouldn't want to replace just one bulb anyway.

Purchased these as an upgrade for my Volvo 2003 S60s' standard bulbs.
Result:
Much cleaner light (Volvo Bulbs usually have this distinctive orange hue)
Increased Light: Not convinced that I'm getting a 130% increased light - seems more like an extra 60-70% at best
Range (Distance): Beam Distance range has suffered - I do get a brighter light but the distance is a lot shorter (By about 50%) then my standard lights
Range (Spread): Beam Spread has improved by a good 25-30% allowing me greater visibility of road markers, pedestrians etc
All in all this is an excepatable upgrade considering the fact that I cannot (legally) install Xenon HID lights in my car.

First off, free international shipping is a great plus! It does take some time for shipping but so does every international shipment. I ordered my bulbs and got them in a little under two weeks. Great price too, for what I have locally available prices can be twice as much as what I paid for these bulbs.
Installed these on my motorcycle and I can say that I have more confidence riding at night with these more so than with the stock bulbs.
Performance-wise, these bulbs are great. I didn't see much improvement in dawn and dusk situations but once the sun is gone, they are bright. I can see more of the road than before. I was expecting the light to be a bit whiter but that's just my preference. Nevertheless, they are whiter than stock and brighter too.

I purchased the Philips X-treme Vision +130 as an upgrade to the standard bulbs fitted to my new Vauxhall Meriva. The beam is much brighter, and stretches further down the road.
Over the years, I have fitted bulbs made by other manufacturers but the Philips are the best as I have found the longevity of some other bulbs lacking and have had to replace them after a few months of use.

I brought these to replace my quite frankly, shocking stock H7's in my 2010 Jaguar XF. After reading various reviews I went for these and yes, they are brighter but they are not 2.3x brighter, only 30% brighter. (I took 100% brighter to be twice as bright, etc) The only reason I didn't give 5 stars as well is that the packaging that holds the lamps came close to shattering when I opened the lid (I broke the clamp as it was really cheap plastic) as I wanted the old packaging to store my old bulbs for back-up and the fact I wasn't blown away with the brightness. (Mind you, that could be down to the XF's reflectors..) Saying that, for the price they are miles ahead of stock H7's.

Found I couldn't see very well at night with original bubs in 10 year old Porsche. Fitted these and don't know whether it is that these 130% bulbs are much better than ordinary ones or just because they are new and the old ones had grown dim. Bought these bulbs from the powerbulbs website after going through the selection process.
The bulbs arrived very quick indeed and I was very impressed with the service. Only problem was it was the wrong bulbs. These bulbs were bought for a pending journey and I ended up having to returning them.
After contacting the sales team and they said they would refund the full amount including postage when they received the bulbs back.
I got my full refund but never got refunded for the postage. I'd still defo buy from powerbulbs as they provide value for money, good service and decent after sales service.

It is the 3rd pair I buy. Love them.
One pair on a Mazda 3, one on a BMW.
The pair on the Mazda burnt after 2 years (lights are always on, and went through 2 Canadian winters). Funny they burnt just 2 weeks apart.
So I just ordered a new pair. Mazda 3's headlights are IMO poorly designed (2006MY). These bulbs allow us to actually see the road. It is a clear, huge difference VS ordinary bulbs. (When the first X-Vision bulb went, I replaced it with a normal bulb and could compare the two literally side by side)
Highly recommended.
Oh and as if it was even worth mentioning AGAIN, PowerBulbs rocks.

A great improvement to the dipped beam of our 2002 Skoda Fabia compared with the the standard H7 bulbs, although not as much as I had hoped for - but that may be due to the age of the headlights themselves which need treatment to restore the clarity of the lens. I certainly recommend them.

Bought these to replace the fairly ineffective standard bulbs in an Audi TT. These are better, but they're still not brilliant. I don't know what they're like for people coming towards me, the light is definitely a lot whiter and there's a bluish tinge at the edges of the beam.
An improvement, but not a revolution.

I was going to buy the bulbs from my local National car bits shop but decided to check online.
The bulbs were half the price fron Powerbulbs.
They arrived very quickly and were well packed.
These bulbs make a big difference to the amount of light on dipped beams, especially if your car isn't fitted with halogen bulbs.

I could give 5 stars because the delivery was so quick. I was really impressed.
I had previously fitted these but one blew in less than 12 months, so I ordered these as replacements. I fitted one of the originally installed bulbs that I had thought was rubbish as a stopgap whilst waiting for these to be delivered and sadly couldnt tell the difference between these 'high power bulbs' and the standard fitment bulbs.
For the price I have kept them for replacements. Incidentally the second of the high power bulbs blew two weeks after the first so perhaps they dont have a long life.

Needed to upgrade globes and these are quite good. The price compared to australia is outstanding, with delivery very good. Good packaging since the item has to come a fair way.
I would recommend the globes as the distance they out is good and a must on country roads to help avoid the kangas.

09 Ford fiesta, they are good bulbs, the spread of light across the road is fantastic, however I do feel they need to be brighter. They are well priced but I wouldn't want to pay anymore. I would challenge the +130 to clever marketing, but they are an improvement over the stock bulbs.

Good dipped beam bulbs, bought them as I do a lot of driving at night and wanted reliability more than anything as they are a devil to change on a Mk IV Mondeo. Can't really comment on that yet obviously. When it's dark and you start up the car they come on with a satisfying bright and clear light. Not miles brighter than stock but definitely noticeable. Good down country roads. I'd get them again

Recommended. Bought to upgrade lighting on my 8 year old Kia Carens MPV. Certainly the white light gives a clearer view of the road ahead without the expense or unsociable consequences of Xenon sources. However the whiter light does offer more glare in misty conditions. Also, headlamp bulbs today are a lot less easy to fit than years ago. Make sure you can access the bulbs yourself before purchase.Excellent service from PowerBulbs.

These bulbs really makes a difference and improves the light significantly over stock. The bulb life has however been relatively short with approximately 1year bulb life only - granted that this is with the bulbs lit all the time due to DRL.
Powerbulbs sales staff and their service excellent, they being very helpful in explaining the advantages of the Philips X-treme Vision + 130% H7 low beam headlight bulb, which have proved to be much better than the standard H7 factory fitted bulbs.

I bought these bulbs to replace my failing xenon type bulbs which were giving a pink / purple light in the fore ground and a poor quality light in the distance.
Well these bulbs are a vast improvement giving a clean white light stretching further ahead of you than before and giving at least 50% more light than I was getting before.

I ordered up a pair of these bulbs to replace my current Osram Night Breaker Unlimited (NBU) to see if it would match the colour of my LED DRLs better.
Firstly I must say these are noticeably brighter than the NBU but only marginally so. I reckon you'd see a bigger difference coming from standard bulbs but if you have some other high-performance bulb installed, it's not much of an upgrade (unless you're replacing a blown out bulb).
On to the colour, despite being rated at 3700K, they were noticeably warmer than the NBU which is supposedly rated at 3600K (although some sources rate the NBU up to 4000K, so maybe that's why)
All in all, the X-treme Vision +130% is a no-brainer if you're looking for the brightest road legal halogens out there but they aren't as white as you might expect.
I'm looking to try out the Osram Night Breaker Laser now that it's launched. Hopefully it'll be whiter than the Xtreme Vision +130%

I was so impressed with the +130% that I ordered more for another one of my cars. I was tossing up whether to upgrade my headlights or fit driving lights to my car as the performance of the standard lights on back country roads was really poor. So poor in fact that I nearly hit a horse standing in the middle of the road. That made me immediately order uprated bulbs. I was careful to avoid those bulbs that seem whiter than white as I understand the more lumen of output actually decreases the penetration of the beam. I am extremely pleased with the 130% and the way they light up the road ahead that I won't even bother with an additional set of driving lights.

I used to have the previous generation of X-treme Vision and these are a significant upgrade. In my Opel (Vauxhall) Astra J 2014 the lightbeam beam is more defined and reaches quite a bit further. It reduces the load of nighttime driving significantly.

Although I haven't installed the H7's from this order yet, I have previously installed a set of H4's on my wife's car. These bulbs made a huge difference over the OEM's, both in terms of amount of light on the road (particularly on wet asphalt, where the OEM product was abysmal) and in terms of colour temp (white without the blueish typically associated with HID bulbs or the yellow tint associated with the OEM bulbs).

I have been using the Phillips X treme Visions headlight bulbs now for over 2 years and am extremely impressed by the quality of the light they produce. A much longer throw on dipped beam with a wide angle as well. My only criticism is that they do not last as long as conventional bulbs, probably due to the higher temperature that they burn at ?. I cover about 25000 miles per annum and get through 2 pairs of them in a year. Not cheap but the price is well worth it when I consider that I feel much safer with better vision.. Highly recommended

Fitted these to my BMW X1 just over two years ago, as the original head lights were terrible. I drive rural roads most of the time and if another car came the other way I just could not see a thing in the dark. These bulbs are far better than the original Osrams, and they are still going strong even though I drive with my head lights on most of the time. Recently purchased a second set just in case one blows, but I would recommend these to anyone who wants better headlights without the cost of adding Xenon.

have been using these bubs for a few weeks now. For sure there is a noticeable difference of colour temperature, but I think the 130% increase is an exaggeration for sure. Still they remain decent bulbs. Can't comment on lifetime yet but we will see. Happy so far!

Fitted in a 2010 qashqai with projector lens. They look brighter and the beam now seems sharper and longer. Although the upgrade in lightning is there and you see it, they don't offer 130% improvement, more something like 30%.

This work was carried out yesterday by the local dealer, and the result is great, better illumination, longer distance, and wider flat beam. These bulbs illuminate the road almost a kilometer. They are more yellow than I expected, but I am using them in conjunction with 6000K HID Low Beams, which are extremely white, so I'm not surprised. The shipping to Western Canada was very quick...about 10 days at most, I think.

I took before and after pictures of the brightness of my headlights during the replacement of the bulbs, a difference in brightness is noticeable but it is not THAT much brighter, maybe I expected too much.
That and I also thought it would be towards a whitish hue, it's not, it's yellow. So again they should change the picture on the packaging.

Coming from OSRAM Nighbreaker Plus (lasted 1 year), I found these Philips x-treme Vision +130% give a much more clear light but with somewhat less throw. The light seems more focused and have less flood, which is curious as this behaviour should be controlled by the car optics. Anyway, nice bulbs. I hope they last a little longer than the OSRAM's did.

These bulbs have a few more lumens and a full 450 hour rating, compared to a standard H7. In addition they only have a very small "blue stripe" to change the colour. (The blue stripe used to change the colour would normally take away the extra light output.) As long as the life meets the rated life, these will be an excellent bulb. Powerbulbs had an excellent price, free and fast shipping to Canada and supplied a bonus gift.... I was very impressed and will use them again.

I was asked to give a review of the Philips X-treme Vision +130% H7 bulbs. Well currently the sun doesn't go down until 9:45 p.m., so the use of these bulbs is slim to nil. The bulbs that are featured are without doubt the best around, because of the quality, product description, and the price. I trust the Powerbulb's products. I could buy locally, but I really don't know what I'm getting, plus the Powerbulbs price is cheaper.
With that said, I would like to comment on is company, Powerbulbs. I have order three sets of bulbs, from England to Canada, and within one week the bulbs will be in my mail box. The last order (4th) was placed May 28, 2015. By June 21 the bulbs had not arrive. I felt this was unusual. I contacted Powerbulbs and Beth immediately provided me with some tracking suggestion, which I followed-up on. She said, that if the bulbs were not located, Powerbulbs would provide a second set of bulbs, with a tracking number. The next day I checked the mail box and there were the bulbs. For some reason the bulbs took almost 1 month to get to my address. I contacted Beth immediately to tell her of the delivery.
Powerbulbs provides me with the best engineered/quality bulbs, with the exceptional customer service, and customer service is what's it is all about. Why should I shop anywhere else?

First off, they are a very well packaged and built product. The fit on my car (mk5 Golf) was effortless and the difference was obvious.
The first thing you notice is that the colour of the light is a lot cooler, the second is the length of the beam. I was dubious about this claim. I didn't understand how the beam could change since it's the projection of the light that creates the beam and is noting to really do with the bulb. I appeared to be correct on the whole but what this bulb does is make it appear the beam is bigger, simply by appearing brighter. I'm assuming that the cooler light simply penetrates the dark better.
Anyway, it does make a difference at night and the road ahead is better lit. For those concerned that their car will look like those chavtastic heavily blue coloured holagens you see knocking around, these aren't like that. There is a very pale blue band around part of the bulb to help the colour come through a little cooler. If you're looking for it, you will see a very slight blue tint in the headlamp reflector but it doesn't look at all silly.
All in all, I'd recommend. Don't forget another pair for your main beam if you're a mk5 Golf owner.

I've had these on my 2004 Jaguar XJ8 for a couple of years now. They're a noticable improvement on the originals - just how much was brought home to me when one blew recently and I substituted an old bulb as a temporary replacement. The price is sharp for what they are and I've had almost 2 years service with the dips on all the time as daylight running lights so I'm happy with that. The Xenons on my Discovery are indeed better still; but that's a newer car and different technology - and god knows how much they'll cost to replace one day!

These bulbs are ok, but are nothing like as bright as xenons. they are certainly better than bog standard halogens, but the price I paid was a special offer. Don't think they are worth the high normal price, as they are relatively short lived.

Ordered this set of pair for my mercedes c (w204) when i'm one unfortunate owner of a nice car with halogen bulbs. Was expecting to lose the "yellow" in the bulbs but there was still some in these ones so i went with diamond vision 5000k. However, if you're not looking for a style/xenon look-a-like bulbs these ones are it. I lost performance when i went from xtreme vision to diamond vision, so if you're smart you chose these and will have good vision literally like the name.

Good quality bulb, noticeable whiter bulb from standard bulbs and work well with the cree LED side light bulbs I fitted on my car. On high beam very noticeable increased brightness and increased distance over standard bulb.. Have used on both dipped and high beam and compared one side with the other before replacing the all bulbs. Smarter sharper and more executive white light. Would recommend.

I stuck those bulbs in my halogen projectors headlamps, they are no way near 130% brighter but seem to be whiter and brighter then the osram bulbs I previously had. They do have a hot spot that seems to be brighter then the osrams and projects in front of the vehicle rather then to the sides, overall happy with the bulbs, only time will tell how long they actually last and keep the brightness.
On a side note powerbulbs is great, they have good customer service, which I experienced first hand as I had to contact them and great pricing.

Changed out the stock (also Philips) H7 from my Volvo V40 with these xtreme vision. The color is visibly whiter but I would have preferred it to be even whiter, perhaps around 4000k would be good.
Brightness wise it is quite a lot brighter than the stock so overall, very happy with the purchase but might try out white vision next time or hopefully, the xtreme vision can be whiter in the next generation.
Delivery was prompt and well packed in bubble wrap and a cardboard box. Will definitely purchase again from Powerbulbs!

Bought these as replacements to my Philips x-treme +100% as one of them had blown after a year / 16,000 miles.
I was very impressed with those and a years use on a Volvo for such a premium quality bulb was fine when it provided so much more safety than a regular stock bulb.
I purchased these new +130% bulbs not expecting any improvement over the ones before but I must say they are. If I can get a year out of these I will definitely buy again as the whiteness and even / clean spread of light (no patchy areas as with standard bulbs)is just brilliant.
You would not skimp on safety by buying cheap tyres so why use inferior lighting.

I first saw these being reviewed by Whatcar magazine in Oct 2014 prior to their release. They got the highest benchmark score when compared to other lights in their class.
I found them to be much brighter compared to the osram 110% nightbreakers.
When I fitted them, the first words out of my and my friends mouth was... 'WOW!'
Its not the whitest of lights (if thats what you after), but its got to be the brightest!
On the test drive after fitting them, I was concerned that I was blinding the oncoming traffic!
Very impressed.... and a great price!

Is so easy to find the bulb needed @powerbulbs even without knowing much about cars. Very efficient search.
These +130% really make a difference in the visibility and is great to know they are road legal, so no problems with anual inspection and no need to switch them for it.
Leaving these H7 bulbs with the standard 5w5 bulbs, the combined light will still appear to be yellow.
Upgrade the bulbs together with 5w5 cool blue or other stylling colour and you'll get an hybrid of top visibility with stylish optics.

I replaced my original H7 low beam bulbs (2007 BMW E60 530i) with the Philips hoping that they will be way much brighter as advertised. They are slightly brighter & whiter than the original but definitely not 130% (more like 20% - subjective). I was considering the Osram Night Breaker Unlimited but decided to get the Philips. Overall, happy with the product. Might try the Osram next time.

Having had cars fitted with bi xenon headlamps for many years, I recently bought a Merc C350 which was equipped with halogen as standard and it was like driving with side lights only by comparison. These replacements are good, not as good as Philips claim but a big improvement over standard halogens. Great coms, price, service and fast delivery from Power Bulbs.

I have purchased some PowerBulbs before, the NightBreaker Unlimited, which were meant to give 110% more light. These worked fine on the 'high' beams but made no difference on the low beam from the 'stock' bulbs supplied by Mercedes Benz. So I decided to try the Phillips X-Treme Vision, as these are slightly 'whiter' and are supposed to add around 45 metres to your night vision, plus they are 130% brighter than standard bulbs. Well I can honestly say that these have not worked for me at all, they are no brighter than my original bulbs and simply do not light up the road ahead any more than before. I have to say I have been disappointed, I am took the Merc in to be tested (in case there was a fault) but everything came back correct, the lights are also correctly levelled so I can only surmise that these have not benefitted my night time driving.

The Xtreme +130% are probably about as good as you're going to get without going HID.
They provided noticeable improvement in both light colour (much more white), light amount (though not sure about the 130% claims), and light spread (being able to see the sides of the roads including footpaths better.
They don't get close to a HID/Xenon kit, but they are probably the best legal halogen bulb you can get. I will definitely be buying them again when I next need a set of headlight globes.

I would like to say how pleased iam with these replacement lamps they are significantly better than the manufacturers originals, what is particularly noticeable is the increase in width of beam, the light penetration and the whiter colour temperature theres only one problem my main beam is definately poorer in outright punch and the yellower colour temperature is very noticeable
Philips should definately offer a "hard to ignore" incentive to get their customers to change their other lamps!

Being an old customer of power bulbs makes me very happy since those bulbs is a great upgrade for any car and any serious driver. Excellent quality, unbeatable price and great service. These bulbs are major improvement over the factory fitted halogen bulbs in my Discovery 4. If you haven't upgraded yet - I recommend that you do it as soon as possible! The price at Powerbulbs was the lowest I could find at the time. Delivery was quick.

These bulbs are the brightest, fully legal upgrades I've found. They have increased my visibility distance and field of vision, so I feel safer driving at night.
Until an approved retrofit xenon kit is available, it's the best you do.

Bought these bulbs for the first time 18 months ago and what a big difference to the standard bulb fitted in the car. Only disappointment was they they lasted 13 months and with a 12 month guarantee there is no comeback. This hasn't stopped me purchasing new ones again because their output is brilliant, I'll keep hold of the garentee though just to be safe.

It is tempting , after spending around £25-£30 to say to yourself ,"yes the lights are better ,by God they are GOING to be better !" ,whether they are or not. I put them on my wife's Tiguans dipped. In the early evening half light you can barely see they are on with standard bulbs. With the new ones .....BRILLIANT !! Have since put them on my own Golf GTI Edition 30 which I hardly use and certainly not much in the dark. 2007 car - 13000 miles !! Have tried this in the dark ,same reaction . SO much better. That's it. If they weren't so good I would not be bothering to write this review. Excellent service as well.The first ones I ordered by phone. Could not not have been more genuinly pleasant with me. All in all ,the whole experience ...... 5 STAR !!

I bought these to replace the Osram Nightbreakers that I had originally installed into my car a while back. Its safe to say these bulbs are far superior. A much brighter and whiter light which illuminates further down the road. Highly recommended if you want better light with out the hassle of adding a Hid kit onto your car.

Absolutely perfect! Was considering headlight upgrade but a colleague suggested just upgrading the bulbs. Glad I did. The additional sidelights was a nice touch. Didn't think I needed them but on inspection the existing ones were cloudy and silver on the inside. Quick swap out and exchange of the H7's and I was very impressed.

I purchased the original philips +100% bulbs and was impressed - they had a nice hotspot 100m away, where it was dark before.
This year I purchased the 130% as soon as they came out as they were on offer and kept them until my new car arrived. I used the new car for a week or so before fitting them, just to see the contrast. Nothing like as good as the old +100% bulbs - no hotspot at 100m. They are a bit brighter right in front of the car, but do not extend the headlight range like the old ones did. The best part of £50 including having them fitted by the dealer, and not a great deal of improvement. Other reviews are good on here, and I'm staggered that +130% bulbs can have so little improvement when the +100% were so much better. Perhaps I got a dud set, but I would buy the +100%'s again, but not these.

The H7 +130 are extremely bright. My low beam reach farther than most high beams of other cars. I also replaced my high beams with the +130. Wow, the illuminate a mile down the road. Installation was quick and easy - and so was the ordering and shipping process.

Used to be crazy about car lighting , , ,changing every month bulbs on my car and having tested everything among the hole range og Philips and Osram bulbs , i must admit that these bulbs are amazing and just what i have been expecting all these years.The amount of light is comparable and even better than this emmited by the Osrams Hyper H7 65 watt,colour close to Philips' Blue Vision Ultras and (believe it or not) sharper and better focused than the X-treme Visions 100%.I have nothing to do with Philips company but after having changed 2 times both headlights on my Peugeot 3008 (being destroyed with so many bulb changing) i feel this is the era of H7 halogen bulb.And yes,this is my first 55watt bulb that reminds me of its existence during daylight and not only at night!The only thing that remais to be prooved is how long will this bulb live....
