(The usage of these bulbs in an exterior application is not road-legal and, in addition, may trigger a bulb error message to appear on the vehicle's on-board computer system / dashboard. This is a harmless side-effect owing to the difference between halogen and LED technology. Any such warning errors may be removed with the additional installation of a Philips CANbus control unit.)
